[A little black puppy comes scrambling around the corner. Maybe she bumps right into your leg. Maybe she swerves to avoid you and ends up running straight up the wall, then dropping back down to the floor with a sheepish look. She sniffs you eagerly, scoots in circles. She never stops moving. Her shadow is shaped like many things, and sometimes the places where her paws fell shine for a moment.]
Oops. Sorry. I'm sorry. Hello! You smell interesting!
[Public, midway through the flood]
[There's a brief, terrifying view of red fire and black oblivion, and then it's just the pink-and-darkness inside of the Puppy's mouth as she releases the communicator, finally successful in her gnawing. She jumps over and around the communicator in dizzying circles, then goes low on her front paws with her haunches in the air, tail wagging in furious excitement.]
Hooray hello yes hi I am the Puppy or Kibeth also you can call me Kibeth who wants to play chase because I really want to play and none of my sisters or brothers are here it will be really fun will you play with me please please please pleeeease?
